The Wonderful Adventures of Captain Antifer

Published in 1894, The Wonderful Adventures of Captain Antifer (original French title: Mirifiques Aventures de Maître Antifer) is one of Jules Verne's great treasure-hunt novels, a globe-spanning quest driven by inherited coordinates and an obsession that spans decades. Captain Antifer, a Breton mariner, carries a secret passed down by his father: the exact location of a vast treasure concealed somewhere in the world.
